Use Case 1 – Products already existing on the Marketplace

Your products are already created on the marketplace either because:
  1. you are already live in the marketplace,
  2. you are selling products already sold on the market place.

You do not need to export your products on the Marketplace.

You can directly activate the synchronization of your offers via the "Configuration" tab in the Shopify Connector.
You can match your offers to the Marketplace products by using either their SHOP_SKU or another product identifier.

Warning
Important!
If you are live, you can update the prices and stocks of your offers that are already created on the Marketplace using the connector. However, the Offer SKU must be identical to the SHOP_SKU of the product. Otherwise the connector will create duplicate offers.



Use case 2 – Enrichment of the Shopify product file

You are new and your products do not exist on the Marketplace.

Some of the required Marketplace attributes are missing from your Shopify catalog.

As a general rule, if you have less than 80% of the required attributes, it is recommended to use the Marketplace product template (see use case 3).
You can check how many required attributes are missing by clicking on the link “View marketplace configuration” in the Product Export page.

You can export your products on the Marketplace directly from Mirakl Connect by enriching the generated Shopify product file.

1. In Mirakl Connect, in the “Product export” page:
  1. Selects whether you want to export all the products from your listing or only the products that have been created or updated since a specified date.
  2. Download the Shopify product file.
  3. Manually add the missing attributes as new columns in the csv file.
  4. Upload the enriched file using the “Select a file” button.
  5. By clicking on ‘Access your store’, the enriched product file is automatically sent to the Marketplace.

2. You are redirected to the Product Flow mapping wizard on the Marketplace back office.
  1. The steps 1 to 3 are done automatically by the connector.
  2. You must finish all the steps from 4 to 7 to export your products.
  3. After clicking on ‘Import my products’ on the 7th step, You will be redirected to Connect.



Use case 3 – Using the marketplace template 

You are new and their products do not exist on the Marketplace.

You are using the Marketplace product template to import your own product either because:
  1. Some of the required Marketplace attributes are missing from your Shopify catalog (see use case).
  2. The operator requires you to exclusively import your product using the Marketplace template. For example, the products attributes must be in a specific format or the Marketplace is uploading the product file on behalf of Yous.

You can import your products directly from the Marketplace back-office by using the Marketplace product template.

1. In the Mirakl Marketplace back office:
  1. Access the operator product template from Price and stock > File import > download and configure the Excel file template.
  2. Select the template to download: “Product” and the requirement level of attributes (by default All is selected).
  3. Select all relevant categories for your assortment.
  4. Select the language of your products.
  5. Click on "Generate Template" to download an operator Excel file template.

2. Fills in the template with your products data and follows the marketplace format rules.

3. Once it is done, you can import the product file in Price and stock > File import.
  1. Select the product file to import and “Products” for the file content.
  2. Click on “Import.”
