Better Prices - gain visibility with great offers

Learn more about the program where Empik automatically lowers the price on one of your offers and pays the difference.

How does it work?

  1. Empik automatically lowers the price on your offer for a set period of time.
  2. Customers can buy the product at a lower price.
  3. The Seller recieves the difference in the amount from Empik.
  4. Final commission depends on the original price of the product.
  5. There are no additional costs.

Who can join?

In order to be elligible you need to:
  1. Be a Seller on empik.com
  2. Offer new, fully functional products

Which products can be qualified?

  1. Regular commision grid.
  2. Lowest offer on the product card.
  3. Not currently on sale.

How to check if your products are currently a part of the program?

  1. Log in to the Seller Management Center. Choose Better Prices from the menu on the left
  2. You’ll see a list of all products with lowered prices. If the list is empty, none of your products are currently a part of Better Prices. 

How does billing work?

All billing details are available in the Seller Management Center as Payments  > Order List.


Returns are processed in the same way as for products not included in the program.
Information about the commission refund will appear as commission discount refund on the statement.
Billing example

You sell a product with an initial price of 100 zł and a 10% commission.

Without the Better Prices program:

  • You set the product price at 100 zł
  • Empik charges a 10% commission: 10 zł
  • Your payout: 100 zł – 10 zł = 90 zł

With the Better Prices program:

  • Empik automatically reduces the product price to 98 zł.
  • The customer buys the product for 98 zł.
  • Commission (10%) is calculated from the lower price: 9.80 zł.
  • Empik compensates the difference - you receive 1.80 zł back so your earnings stay the same.
  • Your payout: 98 zł – 9.80 zł + 1.80 zł = 90 zł

Even though the customer sees a lower price and is more likely to purchase, you earn exactly the same as you would without the program.
You don’t lose money on the discount or the commission- Empik covers the difference.

Leaving the program

Particpation in the program is not mandatory. You can opt out completely or exclude certain products.
Exclude a single product
  1. Log in to the Seller Panel and go to Price & Stock > Offers. 
  2. Pick an offer.
  3. Go to section Additional information and check No in the Better Prices field. 
Exclude multiple products
  1. Log in to the Seller Panel and go to Price & Stock > Offers. 
  2. Go to the Offer Import tab.
  3. Prepare an XLSX (Excel) or CSV file with two columns:
    1. sku – enter the product code
    2. price-calibration-enabled – enter “No”
  4. Click Choose file and upload your file. Leave all default settings unchanged.

Fully opt out of the program
  1. Go to Your Offers > Better prices.
  2. Click on “I want to leave the program.”
If you change your mind, you can rejoin at any time by following the same steps.
If you would like to rejoin the program, simply follow the same steps but check 'Yes' instead of 'No'.
