How to Change a Logistic Class?

There are three methods to change a logistic class:
  1. individually,
  2. in group,
  3. by XML format file or API.

Changing a logistic class individually

  1. Log in to EmpikPlace Seller Dashboard.
  2. Select Price and stock > Offers in the menu on the left side. 
  3. Find the offer in which you want to change the shipping time and click on its title.
  4. Make changes in the "Logistic class" field.
  5. Save the changes.

Changing a logtistic class in group

  2. In the menu bar, select Price and stock > Offers to see the list of all your offers.
  3. Click "Download 'ready to import' file" in the top right corner.
  4. Open the downloaded file and delete all “Update” parameters from the “S” column (important – do not delete the column name.)
  5. Enter a logistic class in the column „M” (Logistic-class); for example, 1, 2 or 3 and save the file.
  6. Log in to EmpikPlace again and go to: Price and stock > Offer imports.
  7. Fill in the following fields:
  1. Source: upload the file
  2. File content: Offers
  3. Import mode: Normal
  1. Select the file and click “Import.”
  2. Lead time to ship has been updated.



Changing a logistic class by XML format file or API

Important!
If you are integrated with an integrational system, you can change the lead time to ship directly through the integrator. The changes will be uploaded to EmpikPlace automaticall

  1. Add <logistic-class>X</logistic-class> to the offer file next to every offer.
  2. This line is responsible for a logistic class, so replace X with a code of the appropriate logistic class. To find a code for a logistic class, in the back office menu bar, select Setting > Shop > Shipping Configuration > Edit shipping charges. For example,
    <logistic-class >1</logistic-class> = Small
    <logistic-class >2</logistic-class> = Medium
    <logistic-class >3</logistic-class> = Very big
  3. Logistic classes have been updated.
