Empik Ads sponsored products in Google – How Does This Channel Work?

What is Google ad placement in Empik Ads?

As part of Empik Ads product campaigns, it is possible  to enable ad placements in the Google advertising network. This means that promoted products – in addition to being displayed on Empik.com – may also appear:
  • in Google search results,
  • in the Google Shopping tab,
if they match a user’s search query.
As a result, the campaign gains additional reach beyond the Empik platform, allowing you to connect with potential customers earlier in the shopping journey – even before they decide where to buy.

How does ad placement in Google work?

Google ads are based on product data from Empik.com – there's no need to create separate ad creatives or set up a Google Ads account. Google automatically determines which offers from the campaign should be displayed and when, using data such as product title, category, price, and relevance to the search query.
Campaign billing is based on the CPC (cost per click) model – you're only charged when a user clicks on your ad.
The maximum CPC set in the campaign may be individually exceeded in certain cases but will be compensated during the campaign run.
Google placement can be enabled when creating a new campaign in the Empik Ads panel. For active campaigns, this option can also be added in the campaign settings.

When is it worth enabling Google as a placement channel?

Google is one of the most important starting points for product searches. Enabling this placement channel may be especially beneficial if:
  • you want to reach new customers outside of Empik.com,
  • you're looking to increase traffic to your product listings,
  • you're promoting high-potential products,
  • you're testing new product groups and looking for a broader audience.
Enabling Google placement does not disable display on Empik.com – the campaign can run in both environments simultaneously.

Where can I view the results of my Google campaign?

All campaign performance data, including clicks and costs, is available in the Empik Ads panel, under the Dashboard and Reports sections. Once Google placement is activated, results from this channel will be visible in the reports.
