Get to know the rules for selling used items on empik.com

How to start selling outlet products

You can enable the option to sell outlet items once you meet the following requirements:
  1. Seller rating on empik.com: above 4.5*
  2. Order cancellation rate: below 5%
  3. Acceptance rate: above 98%
  4. Incident rate: below 2%
You can check these metrics in the Seller Management Center, under Sales Quality > Customer Service Quality.
If you meet all the criteria, contact our Support Team to activate the OUTLET option on your account.
*If you're not a Seller on empik.com yet, we require at least 98% positive reviews on another marketplace.

How to pick product condition

There are three possible types of products available for outlet sale:
  1. Used products – opened or showing visible signs of use.
  2. Refurbished products – inspected by a service center, fully functional, in excellent technical condition, with possible minor signs of use.
  3. Products with damaged packaging – brand new, without defects or signs of use, but in packaging that has been damaged.
For used and refurbished products, you should also specify their condition: Very Good, Good, or Acceptable.
Buyers can see the product condition by hovering over the “i” icon next to the product’s condition.

Purchasing an outlet offer on empik.com

By default, customers are first shown the listing for a new product, but they can choose the condition they want, which also affects the price.
Used products are clearly marked with OUTLET labels. Customers can filter listings to see only the conditions they’re interested in.
NotesAccording to our Terms of Use, customers have the right to return outlet products within 30 days of purchase (excluding products with damaged packaging, which can be returned within 14 days of purchase).

How to add an offer for a used product

Adding outlet products is done the same way as adding new ones. Remember to:
  1. Assign the correct category, condition, and quality.
  2. Describe the product’s condition in detail, including any defects or imperfections.
