How to Change Shipping Time?

Lead time to ship is one of the key elements for a customer when it comes to a purchasing decision.
The faster lead time to ship is, the more attractive your offer is in comparison to the competition.

There are three methods of changing the shipping time:
  1. individually,
  2. in groups,
  3. by XML file or API.

Changing shipping time of an individual offer

  1. In the menu bar, select Price and stock > Offers to see the list of all your offers.
  2. Find the offer in which you want to change the shipping time and click on its title.
  3. Make changes in the "Lead time to ship" section.
  4. Save the changes.

Changing the lead time to ship in group

  1. In the menu bar, select Price and stock > Offers to see the list of all your offers.
  2. Click "Download 'ready to import' file" in the top right corner.
  3. Open the downloaded file and delete all “Update” parameters from the “S” column (important – do not delete the column name.)
  4. Enter the lead time to ship in days in “T” column, e.g. 1=24h, 2=48h, 3=72h and save the file.
  5. Log in to EmpikPlace again and go to: Price and stock > Offer imports.
  6. Fill in the following fields:
  1. File content: Offers
  2. Import mode: Normal
  1. Select the file and click “Import.”
  2. Lead time to ship has been updated.

Changing the lead time to ship by XML format file or API

Important!
If you are integrated with an integrational system, you can change the lead time to ship directly through the integrator. The changes will be uploaded to EmpikPlace automatically.

  1. Add <leadtime-to-ship>X</leadtime-to-ship> to an offer file next to each offer.
  2. This line is responsible for lead time to ship, so you should replace X with the preferred lead time to ship in days. For example,
    <leadtime-to-ship>1</leadtime-to-ship> = 24h
    <leadtime-to-ship>2</leadtime-to-ship> = 48h
    <leadtime-to-ship>3</leadtime-to-ship> = 72h, etc.
  3. The lead time to ship has been changed.
