Setting Promotional Prices

Attractive promotions are one of the main factors that influences consumers to choose the right offer. Setting a promotional price will enable you to, among other things: increase sales, attract new customers and remove excess stock.

There are two options to set the promotional price:
  1. individual method,
  2. group method.

Setting an individual price

  1. In the back office menu bar, select Price and stock > Offers.
  2. Then, find an offer whose price you want to change and click the three dots on the right.
  3. Select ”Edit price”.
  4. Set a price in the ”Discount Price” field.
  5. Click ”Save.”



Setting a promotional price for multiple offers

  1. In the back office menu bar, select Price and stock > Offers to see the list of all your offers.
  2. In the top right corner, click “Download ‘ready to import’ inventory file."
  3. Open the downloaded file and delete all “Update” parameters from the “S” column.
  4. Important! – do not delete the column name.
  5. Then, fill in the "discount price" field, which determines a promotional prices of the given offer.
  6. Do not include any currency or commas while entering the price. The correct price format includes period, e.g. 29.99.
  7. Fill in the "discount-start-date” and "discount-end-date" in the following format: YYYY-MM-DDT00:00:00.000+01:00
  8. Log in to EmpikPlace again. In the back office menu bar, select Price and stock > File imports.
  9. Fill in the fields:
    1. Source  upload the file
    2. File content  select "Offers”
    3. Import mode  select "Normal”
  10. Click “Import.”

Setting a promotional price by .XML file or API  EmpikPlace Seller Dashboard.

  1. Add <discount-price>X</discount-price> to an offer file next to each offer.
  2. This line is responsible for a discount price, so you should replace X with a discounted price. For example,

    <discount-price>50</discount-price> = PLN 50 PLN
    <discount-price>4</discount-price> = PLN 4 PLN
    <discount-price>1000</discount-price> = PLN 1000 etc.

  3. The discounted price has been saved.
